Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Moldanubian magmatites. Outcrops of lenticular bodies of Přibyslavice Orthogneiss. Leucocratic muscovite orthogneiss with biotite, garnet and turmalin forms a body several dozens of metres thick and about 500 m long. This orthogneiss is comparatively weathering resistant and that is why it forms elevation within paragneisses. Vein of turmalinic pegmatite penetrates through this orthogneiss body. Contact of orthogneiss and paragneiss is exposed.
